Forty days. Forty ways to change the world. One person, one place, one act at a time.

Join us for a special networking opportunity with guest speaker Lisa Barrickman '96, author of A Case for Kindness: 40 Ways to Love and Inspire Others. Lisa will share her journey of committing herself to forty days of intentional kindness, which created a ripple effect leading to more than 20,000 separate acts of kindness as others embraced the endeavor. She will also describe her journey going from regular person to published author.

The event will take place on Wednesday, May 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Devil's Alley. Get an update on everything happening on campus, participate in a round-table discussion with Lisa and network with other local Flyers. Appetizers will be provided by the Alumni Association.

There is no cost to attend this event, but please register below so we reserve enough space. Feel free to invite friends, family and co-workers to attend, as well. If you have any questions, please contact Shannon Hallinan '12 at

You do not have to read the book to attend the event, but if you'd like to order A Case for Kindness, you can do so here:
