1. Step 1 Selection
Saturday January 13
9:45 AM - 11:45 AM

This January, many people will make a resolution to be more fit. We are making a resolution to be more "culture fit" and we hope you join us for a FREE career development opportunity focusing on this topic.

On January 13 at 9:45 a.m., the Penn State Great Valley Alumni Association is hosting "Getting Culture Fit: How to Leverage Your Values to Get the Job You'll Love" with speaker Steve Van Valin. More and more, organizations are hiring based on the employee's fit with the culture of the organization, in addition to evaluating skills and experience in their decision making. You will learn more about these trends in hiring and get interviewing tips to help you articulate your value and find the organization that will bring out the very best in you.

Steve Van Valin is currently the CEO and founder of Culturology. He was previously the leader of QVC's culture and brand developmet and has also consulted for NASA, the Philadelphia Phillies, Boeing and the National Forest Service.

Join other Philadelphia alums as we attend! We will meet in the lobby beforehand to sit together as a group. Look for Steven by the staircase after you check in with My Career Transitions. You must register below to attend this event. Registration closes at 9 a.m. on Friday, January 12. If you have any questions, please contact Steve Thomas '03 at
