University of Dayton students are heading west, help us welcome them!

Flyers in Hollywood is a week-long career immersion trip that first stops in Las Vegas, where students attend the joint meeting and career fair of the Broadcast Education Association and National Association of Broadcasters. For the second leg, the students travel to Los Angeles where they will tour film and television studios, as well as meet with alumni who work in the entertainment industry.

On Thursday, April 23 join us at the Grammy Museum to welcome and network with the latest cohort of Flyers in Hollywood students! The students will screen the documentary they are developing this year in class which is focused on the Memorial Day tornadoes, August shooting at Ned Peppers, and the community response to those events. Additionally, Joe Valenzano, professor and chair of the department of communication, will provide an update on what is happening across the entire communication department. There will also be the opportunity to explore the Grammy Museum throughout the evening, and interact with the students.

Admission for the evening is $25 per person which includes a buffet and a drink token. For young alums who graduated between 2014-2019 admission is only $10. Any guests are welcome to attend as well.
