Saturday December 15
7:45 AM - 11:30 PM

December 15 is Wreaths Across America day, a national initiative where coordinated wreath laying ceremonies take place at 1400 locations in all 50 states, at sea and abroad. Help us remember fallen veterans and honor those who serve as we participate in Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery. In the spirit of the Christmas season, we will help lay wreaths at the graves of our fallen soldiers.

We will all meet up at a location close to the Metro at 7:45 a.m. so we can walk over and go through security together. The location will be sent to those who registered a few days before the event.

The day will begin with an opening ceremony at the McClellan Arch at 8:30 a.m. and the wreath laying will begin at 9 a.m.

Due to the large number of volunteers expected at Arlington, we encourage everyone to utilize the Metro System as parking in the ANC parking garage will be unavailable. General public parking is also available at the North Parking Lot of the Pentagon where there will be shuttle buses to take volunteers to the cemetery. There will also be shuttle buses running from the Rosslyn Metro Station to the cemetery.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required so that we can report everyone's names to Wreaths Across America. If you have any questions, please contact Julie Schenck '10 at schenck.julie@gmail.com.

If you are not able to attend, you can help by sponsoring a wreath. Click here to see ways you can support Wreaths Across America.

We hope you join us for this very important day of service.

Location: Arlington National Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Arlington, VA
